Cyber Security – Lesson from Cyber War

David Orr, Security Operations Centre Manager, NCC Group

David Orr commissioned in to the Royal Corps of Signals in 1999. Over a nineteen year career he served in an array of IT service delivery roles, including on operations in Afghanistan. Latterly he specialised in cyber operations finishing his career as Chief of Staff (Operations) in Joint Forces Cyber Group where his responsibilities included integrating cyber into wider military panning. Since leaving the Army earlier in the year, David has worked for NCC Group as their Security Operations Centre Manager. In this role he is responsible for a team of cyber security specialists delivering security as a service solutions to customers across an array of industry sectors.
